🔧 As a Tech Coach, my one-on-one sessions are critical moments of connection, alignment, and growth.

Here’s my guide to making them genuinely transformative:

Genuine Care: 🤝 It’s more than just courtesy. Show real concern for the other person, not just as a professional, but as a human being.

Honest Feedback: 📢 Avoid sugarcoating. Be straightforward, use examples, and ensure the message is clear. Constructive feedback drives growth.

Seek Feedback for Yourself: 🔄 Ask them to critique you. Yes, seriously. It’s a two-way street. Their feedback on your coaching or leadership approach can be invaluable.

Active Listening: 🐚 Give your undivided attention to everything they say. Engage with genuine interest. You’ve probably heard this before, but it’s always worth repeating.

Embrace the Uncomfortable: 🌵 Address at least one tricky subject. It’s in these slightly awkward moments that some of the most authentic conversations and breakthroughs occur.

Consistency is Key: ⏰ Be reliable in all your interactions. Trust is built on consistency.

These meetings are more than mere check-ins; they are opportunities to delve deep, identify challenges, and collaboratively work towards solutions. It’s about building trust, driving growth, and ensuring alignment in our ever-evolving tech world.
